Ray Colby: Nature Photographer

Kinney-Lindstrom Gallery
April 10 – June 17, 2026

Ray Colby, a retired commercial photographer living in Minneapolis, MN, is featured in a solo exhibition in the Museum’s Kinney-Lindstrom Gallery.  This photographic display has a three-pronged focus: often-overlooked insects and arachnids that populate Midwest backyards and gardens, large birds of urban Minneapolis, and a stop on the migration route of Sandhill Cranes in the Crex Meadows Wildlife Area.

The photographs in this exhibition will be available for purchase via auction, with proceeds going to support the Charles H. MacNider Art Museum.  Please visit the Museum’s front desk for full purchasing details.

Ray Colby: Nature Photographer is sponsored by the Mason City Clinic Charitable Giving Committee and the David & Phyllis Murphy Charitable Foundation.
