Kinney-Lindstrom Gallery

ELIGIBILITY: All artists/craft persons above high school age residing in the state of Iowa.
FIVE ENTRY CATEGORIES: Clay; Fiber; Glass; Metal/Wood; and Other Craft Media
ENTRIES: A total of four (4) entries may be submitted by each artist in the form of small jpegs (1 MB per image maximum sent to mlinskeydeegan@masoncity.net). Artists may enter up to two images for 2-D works and three images for 3-D works. Entries must be received by Saturday, August 30. All entered artworks are to be original, by the entering artist, completed since September 2023 and not previously entered into the Iowa Crafts show. Do not submit the actual artwork for jury.
NOTE: The entering artist, by signing the entry form, agrees to all the conditions of entry. No entry will be accepted without a SIGNED entry form. The entry form may be mailed in, dropped off, scanned and e-mailed or an on-line, fillable entry form can be found at www.macniderart.org/exhibition-entry-forms/
The Charles H. MacNider Art Museum has the right to refuse any work due to misrepresentation and/or inadequate presentation.
LABELING ENTRIES: Please label all digital entry images with the title and entry number (e.g. Vase 1).
DELIVERY OF ACCEPTED ENTRIES: If accepted, works must be delivered to the museum no later than Wednesday, October 8 at 5 p.m. Accepted entries can either be sent or hand delivered to the Museum.
ENTRY PICK-UP: Exhibited works can be picked up starting Wednesday, January 7, 2026. All exhibited work must be picked up/shipped back by Saturday, January 31, 2026. Work left after this date will be disposed of at the discretion of the Museum unless alternate pick up/shipping arrangements are made before January 31. Cost of all shipping will be borne by entrant.
AWARDS: Best in Show Award: One-person exhibition in the Museum’s Center Space Gallery within one calendar year; Best in Category: $150; Juror’s Special Mention in Category: $50. Awards will be announced on Saturday, November 1 at 2:30 p.m.
SALES: Work may be priced for sale or NFS (not for sale). If work is labeled NFS please include an estimated insurance value. A 40% commission on sales will be retained by the Museum.
INSURANCE: Extreme care will be exercised in handling entries; the Charles H. MacNider Art Museum cannot assume liability for accidents in shipping or handling. The insuring of works while in transit will be left to the discretion and responsibility of the individual artists. While in Museum possession, artworks will be insured.
